eBay Pulls the Plug on Online Casino Auction

BetbyInternet, the online casino, said that eBay is discontinuing the $100,000 auction from the eBay site. The auction worked by selling prepaid memberships. eBay claims that the online casino auction promoted illegal activities. The online casino auction had a minimum selling price of $49,000.

It took eBay almost 48 hours to realize that it was a casino, not a rapid response time from the worlds online auction giant. BetbyInternet plans to list a comparable auction, this time calling it a pre-paid gambling trip to Las Vegas. Their reasoning is that you can only gamble in Las Vegas, and hope to get around eBay's regulations and watchdogs.
So eBay beware, and for all you gamblers, take a peek at the auction before eBay wakes up.
