Jupiter Research studied who are European Poker Players

Jupiter Research recently conducted a Pan-European on behalf of Everest Poker to check who plays poker in Europe and how they behave. They received the inputs of 2,000 players in France, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Spain and Italy. This was the first poker-specific survey of its kind.
|
The survey found that poker is still a man's game with 70-80% of all offline and online players being male. The largest age group was 25-34, reaching over 30%.
Most people played four times a month, but 40% played every week, in the evening and weekends. Only 28% responded that their goal with online poker was to make money. In addition, 92% of players described their poker-playing skills as average.
