Lawmakers Want to Ban Smoking on Casino Floors

Online Casino Atlantic City casino owners wanted smoking on their casino floors. They were allowed to do so. Casinos can have smoking in 25 percent of the casino floors; however, some believe that the casino owners are taking advantage of this law.
Senator Joseph Vitale said that casinos have not complied with even the 75/25 standard. Hence lawmakers in the state may be changing their position. A Bill that would stop all smoking on casino floors will be introduced next week.

The Bill has 17 sponsors who are outraged with the lack of cooperation from casino owners. The casino owners' unwillingness to comply with this law is what has led to this latest Bill. But while no vote is yet scheduled on the new Bill, Sen. Vitale believes it will move along swiftly.

Lawmakers have also called on Pennsylvania to make similar smoking laws. Pennsylvania, however, recently changed their limits on smoking from 25 to 50 percent for casino floors.
