Over 20,000 Jobs to be Created in New Singapore Casino Project

Las Vegas Sands yesterday announced that its bid for Singapore's Marina Bay casino license wins; the project would create more than 10,000 jobs, around three quarters of which would go to locals.
|
|
In addition to this, a further 10,000 jobs are projected to be created by tenants and retailers in the resort, as part of the S$5.8 billion (US$3.6 billion) mega casino resort development, which will include 1.2 million square feet of convention facilities. The four other companies bidding for the casino license are Harrah's Entertainment, MGM Mirage and Malaysian-based Genting International.
