Buddhist Temple Gets $400,000 Gambling Donation

Powerball winner, Quang Dao recently donated $400,000 of his $15.1 million win to Lincoln, Nebraska's Vietnamese Linh Quang Buddhist Centre.
|
|
Dao has reportedly been an active member in the Buddhist community, which has been working for four years to raise enough funds to build a new temple to serve the 1,000 Vietnamese Buddhists living in the area. The win was the largest in US history, with a prize of $120 million, after tax, being divided amongst eight employees of Lincoln Cook's food processing plant.
