Strategic Blackjack Tournament Tips

Blackjack is one of the most popular casino games because the amateur player can win a fairly large amount of money and all that is necessary to join a blackjack game is a relatively small entrance fee.

Mini-tournaments are one-day tournaments, but the typical blackjack tournament is held over a three-day period. Major tournaments are televised. The pros participating in these tournaments use strategic blackjack tips to win.
Blackjack Tip # 1 -The objective of blackjack is that the player with the most money at the end wins. Winning a blackjack tournament calls for good money management. In general, you always want to be the last to act so that your bet is made with the maximum amount of information. Blackjack has a very low house edge over the long run. Remember that you are not playing against the house; you are playing against the other tournament players.
Blackjack Tip # 2 - Join only tournaments where the entry fees are rolled into the prize money.
Blackjack Tip # 3 - To catch up to the lead player in blackjack, make a couple of large bets. Making lots of mid-sized best is a less effective method. Before placing a big bet, make sure to wait for the dealer button to pass you.
Blackjack Tip # 4 An additional way to pull up to the leader is to make a bet opposed to their bet. For example, if the leader places a large bet, you place a small bet.
Blackjack Tip # 5 Leaders should match the size of their wagers to the wager of the second leading player. This makes it harder for them to catch up to the leading player.
Blackjack Tip # 6 Use chip counting to approximately calculate your rivals bankroll. Chip counting is vital to winning during the last several hands. Buy some cheap casino chips and practice chip counting at home. Counting chips correctly (and fast) gives you a huge advantage in blackjack tournaments.
Blackjack Tip # 7 It is vital to gain the lead before the last hand is played. This means that even if you must bet big for several hands, then bet big.
Blackjack Tip # 8 Make sure you are not more than one maximum bid behind the lead player, or you wont be able to catch up unless you have lots of chips and can pair split or double down.
Blackjack Tip # 9 Betting position is a big advantage. The player who bets after everyone else has the advantage. Just be ready to make some money by using a pair split or double down.
Blackjack Tip # 10 There are times when you are lacking enough chips to catch up to the lead player. Dont despair. Bet one chip less than the lead player and pray the dealer beats the table.
Blackjack Tip # 11 During qualifying rounds, there is the chance a few rivals will bet after you bet and they will bet everything. Hold back one chip, this way if the dealer beats the table you can still take second place and progress to the next round. In the meantime the other players went bust.
Blackjack Tip # 12 For situations when you must bet big on the last hand, think about betting only 50% of your bankroll.
