Poker Champion Jamie Gold dropped from Team Bodog Poker

Online Casino Bodog is dropping Jamie Gold, the winner of the 2006 World Series Of Poker championship, from poker team for the 2007 season.
However David Williams, Josh Arieh, and Evelyn Ng remain. Other poker star, Joe Hachem, Greg Raymer and Chris Moneymaker are all signed up with Pokerstars, so the move is seen as very strange. Indeed, Gold has the dubious distinction of being the only WSOP champion from the last five years without a deal with an online poker room. Bodog says that they have decided to cease all offline marketing initiatives in the USA and refocus instead on Europe and Asia. However this does not explain why other US players have been retained and Jamie Gold has been let go. One can only assume that it has something to do with personal chemistry.
