How to play BlackJack
|
Blackjack, or 21, offers the player among the best odds in Casino card games. The goal in Blackjack is to end the hand with a higher numerical total than the Deal, without going over 21. Each card has a numerical value, with the face cards (Kind, Queen, Jack) scoring 10 and the Ace scoring 11. So a 10 or face card plus an Ace scores 21 and gives you Blackjack.
You can play Blackjack in several convenient ways:
- Private Table - Alone against the Dealer (the house).
- Group Table - With up to three players of your choice.
- Public Table - With two other players (live and online), just like in a real Casino.
Rules
- When a player wins with Blackjack, the Casino pays paid 1.5 times the placed bet (odds of 3 to 2 so $10 bet wins $15)
- Dealer must keep drawing cards (Hit) up to 16.
- Dealer must Stand on all cards totaling 17 or more (no more cards).
How the cards are dealt
- The dealer deals from a shoe containing four decks of playing cards.
- The players and the dealer are each dealt two cards at the start.
- Players may draw (Hit) as many cards as they wish, until reaching 21.
- If a player draws a card that puts him* over 21 (called a Bust), he loses the hand.
How the game is played
- Before the deal, the player places his bet by clicking either on the $1 chip, $5 chip, $25 chip or the $100 chip image, to reach the desired bet.
- After deciding on the desired bet the player must click the "Deal" button to
proceed with the hand.
- The round begins after all participants have bet and clicked "Deal". In Public and Group Tables, the game will proceed once the 30 seconds default time limit has expired.
- Once the deal begins, the bets may not be changed.
- During the course of the hand, players may add to their bets through Double Downs, Splits, and Insurance.
- After the cards are dealt, the player is offered the appropriate option. Buttons at the lower center of the screen will appear in order to facilitate his desired action. For example, if it is possible to split two cards, a button called Split will appear to allow the player to do so.
- The minimum bet is $1 and the maximum bet is $500. Each player receives two cards, face up, and the dealer receives one card, face up.
- The player may request as many additional cards as desired, until he chooses either to Stand or he overreaches 21, when he is Bust.
- A player who is dealt Blackjack will immediately receive 1.5 times his placed bet from the Dealer. If the Dealer also has Blackjack, this is called a Push the players bet is returned to his pile.
